Maglev Alignment, Technology and Environmental Support Services
As the private partner in the Pennsylvania High Speed Maglev Project, MAGLEV, Inc. has been involved in the development and design of hundreds of miles of Transrapid International (TRI) maglev system corridors and alternative alignments. We can identify and engineer preliminary high-speed maglev corridors and alignments based on your sites parameters. We design and analyze preliminary alignment alternatives using ArcView GIS, Microstation, InRail and internal analysis tools.
MAGLEV, Inc. has developed specific tools to design and analyze high-speed maglev alignments. With our proprietary MagRide software we can analyze alignments and engineer them to meet ride-comfort, speed, environmental and geometric requirements of high-speed Transrapid maglev systems. We can identify preliminary substructure location and determine beam type configuration and fabrication requirements using our BEAMSS software package.
Our experienced staff can also provide assistance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process including addressing the most common environmental impacts associated with high-speed maglev projects.
With a fifteen-year working relationship with TRI we can provide education for staff, resource agencies, public officials, the public and other stakeholders with the TRI maglev technology. We can also provide services for development of preliminary cost estimates, operating plans, ridership estimates, financial plans and other related project documentation and handouts.
