Steve has 30 years experience in high-accuracy metrology for large-scale research projects. Most of these projects deal with large components, their manufacture and alignment. A couple of Steve's more notible projects include the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, National Ignition Facility (NIF) and the Caltech/MIT - Laser Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO).

From the layout of large civil projects including airport, highway and mass transit, to the opposite end of the spectrum, as a machinist creating high precision powdered metal compacting tools, high tolerance measuring has touched every facet of Rick’s career.
