MAGLEV, Inc. Company Overview
MAGLEV, Inc., a Pennsylvania company, was incorporated on February 16, 1990 and is comprised and supported by numerous private and public entities. Prior to incorporation, a Maglev Working Group was developed through Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) to earn political and community acceptance and to ultimately establish a new corporation, MAGLEV, Inc.
Mission
To create an integrated Pennsylvania Industry/Government partnership and implement manufacturing, construction, and deployment of a Transrapid International magnetically levitated high-speed transportation system beginning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Vision
To be the premier organization in the United States for developing and deploying high-speed maglev and for developing the associated precision fabrication technology for large steel structures.
